SHE LIVES!!!!

Yes, but barely. I'm happy to report I took my Spanish 105 Final today-w00t! No more Spanish classes for me, if all goes well! And maybe just as well. My hubby says my Spanish is better than his now--HAH! Yeah, right. It will be nice to get back to my Japanese L2 Frame of Mind.

So, I have been really busy what with this Spanish class (language classes are sooooooo time consuming!) and working on my Thesis. I piloted my questionnaire this last week, but I still haven't met with my committee because I haven't rewritten my Lit review and Methodology chapters *huff huff*. Seriously, Grad School would be a breeze if you didn't have to do a Thesis.

But I am ecstatic to start a 3 week break now. And maybe I'll finally get around to posting some stuff. I've been fairly productive on the beading end of things, and I KNOW I have some sketches that I haven't loaded on here. Hee hee....I'm also excited because I got a limited edition Hello Kitty T-shirt from my sister (exchange sister) in Japan yesterday! Tee-hee, I'm wearing it now, and it's PINK! I like it a lot.

So, thanks for being patient with me everybody. OH! And much to my surprise DA has changed how it does things, like messages! It's being really fickle with me at the moment, and it doesn't seem to take my comments or deletions very well, lol. I hope you will be patient with me. I'm sorry I haven't commented on anyone's stuff so far....

Hmmm...what else? I saw the end of Avatar!! I'm so depressed that show is over. It's such a fun one. One that I will definitely have to get on DVD. I read Twilight, and I'm just waiting till we have enough money to get the rest of the books. I understand why everyone likes it so much (would you be jealous if I told you that I could take out big chunks of the relationship with Edward and Bella and they would be mirrors of my relationship with my husband? Except the vampire part, lol). I'm thinking of reading The Host--Stephenie Meyer's book for adults--though, because honestly.... Twilight, while a fun read, is not that well-written of a book in my opinion. WAIT, hear me out--I think it's because it is written from Bella's perspective, and she's a teenager. So while I find the story kinda fun, and I do want to read more, I'm a little disappointed in many ways, too. Does that make sense to anyone else? Let's put it this way--I'll bet they could fit the entire first book into that movie and still have time to spare. Also, does anyone else's book have, like, a TON of errors in it? It's kind of distracting...

Maybe that's harsh? I guess that's my rant for the day. I still need to get my hands on the rest of the saga anyway. I wanna see some werewolves come in now!! *Don't spoil it for meeeeeeee~* It's fun to finally read a GOOD story about vampires and such that's not overbearing with mature themes and screaming an R-rating.

Oh, Oh!! And my husband bought me the first Harry Potter--in JAPANESE!!! Okay, so I hinted and hinted at him until he bought it because they had it in the University Bookstore, but I'm still stoked! La la la la la..............

Jya, eso es todo for now! (How's that for Spajaplish for ya!)

I'm sorry, but no I did not die!

GOMEN NASAI!!

I have been obsessing myself with school work and such. But today is the last day of finals, I just need to turn in a paper I'm revising and I will be done.... until next Monday, when Spring Term starts. Oh well.

What have I been up to? Just massive class projects. And I sold a few baby afghans on e-bay, which also meant I had to crochet a few. And I've been doing more beading and trying to get scrapbooking stuff together to finish putting my wedding album together. Oh well.

But I have finished my first year of graduate school, and I have been accepted into a graduate certificate program as well. So if all goes well, next April I will be graduating with a Master of the Arts (MA) and a Graduate Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). So all is going well for me, all things considered. And the things that aren't going well.....here is not the place to talk about them. ^_^

I hope to be more productive in the drawing field soon. As I've been reading Harry Potter again, I've had this urge to draw little Hogwarts students....maybe Ginny. She's such a handful. Probably one of the most colorful characters in the books (and I'm not just talking about her hair!).

Well, I've rambled on long enough. I just wanted anyone who reads this to know that I have not dropped off the face of the earth, I am not ignoring you, and no I don't think I am better than you!! (I just threw that last one in for fun).

I hope you all are enjoying your spring!! As for me..... I can't wait to hit the water park!! (Still a month to go before that happens.....)

So...lazy?

So, I am still ALIVE!!

I have posted a few new things--necklaces and afghans again, sorry!

Believe it or not, I discovered in my sketch-book perfectly good doodles I have done over the past while, I just haven't scanned them or worked on them to make them nicer. So I have been drawing, just not posting. Since I'm not planning on crocheting anything for a bit, I hopefully can get them up here sometime next week.

I've made it through good ol' Espanol 101 and I just took my first test for 102 today! I get to sign up for Fall classes soon, and the next thing I have to worry about is getting a Thesis Prospectus in so that I am still considered for Scholarship money. (Sounds difficult, but I hear that it doesn't need to be longer than 2 pages at the most!).

So that is what is going on with me. I am sooo glad the weather is warming up. My hubby and I got waterpark season passes, and I can't wait to start using them!

By the way, I love all the art you all are doing. You are all very talented, and always give me something to look forward to when I log in, even if it seems like I've been dead to the world for the past few months.

Thanks for Indulging me.

Happy Green Day!
I mean.... St. Patrick's Day!

Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day!! I hope you are surrounded by those who love you!!

And if not, I hope you enjoy your SAD Day, though I hope that you find something to love about this day in one form or another.

I am sorry for my lack of production art-wise. Even though I only have two classes, they still keep me busy. I've been thinking of little comics to do. We'll see if they ever come to fruition.

And here's to finally playing FFX and unlocking those Legendary Weapons!!! I've never done that before. I only have 2 more to go!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
