It's done. Finished. Complete.

I defended my thesis, and it went WELL. Just have to finish up a few revisions. And I'm starting an actual teaching job at the English Language Center on Monday. Only for the summer, though.

Which means....!?!?! I can draw and write and do whatever-the-heck-I-want again! I almost feel like a high schooler again, ha ha ha.

The sad thing? My husband leaves in a month for basic training. Which means I'll be spending a few months completely alone, unable to see him or communicate with him except by good old fashioned snail mail (good thing I've still got lots of that cute Japanese stationery lying around...).

As a graduation present for me, my parents are graciously going to buy us the new computer I've been drooling over for the past 6 months. It may be a month or two before I get it, though, so don't expect much production from me just yet. I'm fed up with trying to do creative junk on this laptop. *sigh*

Am I complaining too much? Oh! I've gots tix to the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert!!! Going with two of my best friends to see it, and I can't wait! That gives me something to look forward to for this lonely summer. I will definitely update you on how THAT goes.

I can't think of anything else to say. Keep up with the good work, people!! You're all doing amazing work, and I love seeing what you guys have produced. Please be patient with me just a little longer.
